Being an entrepreneur is to break all rules and to take calculated risks. It's failing, making mistakes and learning from all the experiences you can get. I’ve had 20 jobs and 6 companies, so my goal is to help other entrepreneurs not make the fundamental mistakes I did, and which cost me a fortune, precious time and so many delays. That is why I am truly excited to share all these experiences with FBE and its students.

Eddie Mullon,

Founder at Fashion GPS/Launchmetrics

As a co-founder and CEO of a fashion tech start-up, Awear Solutions, I have learned that having holistic knowledge about fashion and the business of fashion is extremely powerful. The industry has become multi-dimensional and technology has become the key ingredient and a desirable facilitator in the conception, delivery and even consumption of fashion. The Fashion Business for Entrepreneurs (FBE) course bridges the gap between the ever evolving fashion industry, as well as the technologies and practices that are facilitating its processes.

There is no handbook that provides you with all the secrets on being an entrepreneur, but with FBE you have an opportunity to learn from industry experts. In my experience, I have had to learn on my own but courses like FBE could have helped me to learn along the way. I believe that FBE provides the necessary tools and that it is exactly what every fashion entrepreneur needs to help them along their journey. I’ve signed up for this course, as I believe that it is the right way to give one more tools and to improve ones knowledge.

Liron Slonimsky,

Co-Founder and CEO at Awear Solutions

I believe the concept of a “finishing course” is important, especially to young beginners that are completely lost when they leave fashion school with their big dreams and when they face the reality of fashion world today.

Today, when small designers can create and work virtually anywhere in the world, and when e-commerce and influencers can help you create, even when living in a little faraway land, drawing strength from uniting with your peers, and searching for people with interesting skills, which are available around you, can help you in the important task of defining your uniqueness.

I've had a chance to observe that having a group of people, who belong to the same age group and studied different facets of fashion, can often help to advance a young enterprise as effectively as a well defined business plan or an assistance from a professional investor.

FBE.global is an incredibly powerful and a much needed educational tool for Fashion Entrepreneurs and Fashion professionals around the world. As a Fashion Designer/Fashion Entrepreneur I am extremely excited to see this program come to fruition and its launch to the public.

While there are many programs, and in coveted schools, that teach subjects such as Fashion Marketing, Fashion Merchandising and Fashion Design, there seems to be a lack of comprehensive programs for Fashion Designers/Entrepreneurs/those looking to succeed at their own brand, that teach the much needed ins and outs of Fashion Entrepreneurship and how to succeed at it, enter FBE.global.

FBE.global has wow’d me as an impressive educational tool that provides a much needed program in Fashion Entrepreneurship at an MBA level, that envisages a course in much needed expertise, and harnesses the knowledge and guidance from talented mentors of successful brands, such as Hermes, Loro Piana and Prada, to truly guide you throughout the program.

In my opinion, this program is a much needed one, especially for those looking to take their career goals to the next level, and to succeed in a competitive and challenging fashion industry.

So, if you’re ready to take your fashion business goals to the next level, and most importantly, if you're ready to achieve them now, I highly recommend signing up for the Entrepreneurship program at FBE.global.

Amrita Gill,

Fashion Designer/Owner of Atelier Amrita

AAS Fashion Marketing, Parsons School of Design

As a fashion buyer, I believe that although a designer is the creative part of a project, he/she should always think about the commercial part of this business and can't really skip some basic rules (points), when it comes to it.

If to briefly summarize, it would look something like this:

  • Target: what kind of retailer would you like to work with? who is your consumer?
  • Story telling: what is your background as an upcoming designer? who represents your network? is your network diverse enough?
  • Sales: are you actually ready to sell? are you on friendly terms with such things as wholesale and mark up? do you have your logistics and taxes all figured out, etc.?
  • Focus: are you completely involved in your project? are you ready to work really hard (I mean really really hard)?
